THE MUSICAL EVIDENCE
With our new A10 CLASSIC amplifier, our goal was to offer an audiophile integrated amplifier inspired by the famous X-i1100, acclaimed for its musicality and vivacity.
The A10 is fully integrated into the future and easy to use. Although its classic design remains timeless, it combines an ECC81/12AT7 tube preamplifier with a 2x130W class AB push-pull amplifier.
In short, the best of both worlds!
The modernity is also displayed thanks to a microprocessor that manages all the functions called by the encoder, a long or short pressure allows to access the menus.
We can scroll through the inputs: 6 analog on RCA with a MM phono with three capacity settings (100, 200, 320 pf), a balanced line on XLR, 5 digital including 3 optical, a S / PDIF and a USB audio, plus a connector for a bluetooth aptX receiver XFTB01 or XFTB02 (optional).
A USB-A socket accepts MP3 audio files from a portable music player or USB stick. Originality: two HDMI sockets, one for a DVD to benefit from the audio signal quality of the A10 and one HDMI ARC to connect a CEC protocol display, can be activated in the system configuration menu.
Here are also shown information about the system, the selection of speakers (A, B or A+B), the setting of loudness, bass, treble or bypass, the auto sleep (or not) spread from 5 to 90 min.
The Trigger In/Out input controls the A10 on and off remotely, or from the A10 to another device connected via the minijacks.
The A10 offers the possibility to connect two subwoofers and to output the modulation separately to the preamp or amplifier.
A fixed Rec Out is intended for a cassette player, MD, or other type of recorder.
At the rear, the High Bias switch activates the Class A bias on the first few watts of the power stage.
The A10 is a real winner, and can even hold its own against more ambitious and expensive products.
A great success in perspective!
